Volunteers are needed to help with Newsletter assembly. This can be done from your home, or in person.
Emergency Food Box:
Volunteers are needed for help re-stocking shelves in the food pantry and waiting on clients who are picking up food boxes.
Northeast Iowa Area Agency on Aging:
Help someone in need today by committing to deliver one day per week. Volunteers are needed to deliver frozen meals to clients
on Tuesdays for the week.
House of Compassion:
There are currently many available volunteer opportunities at House of Compassion…they are as follows:
Supply Closet: Sorting and cataloging donations and/or assisting clients with selection of items from the Closet. The Closet operates Monday-Thursday 10am-Noon and 1:30-4:30pm.
Cook and/or serve meals: Any night Sunday-Friday. Meals are served to the public from 5-6:15PM.
Food donation processing: Every other Friday they receive a pickup-bed sized donation of food products. Time commitment is from around 11am-1pm, assisting with unloading & stocking of shelves as well as cataloging the items.
RSVP is currently recruiting volunteers to help with after-school youth programming.
ISU Extension & Outreach/Marshall County
Volunteers are needed to help with reception duties--answering phones and waiting on clients.
