Welcome to the website for the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) serving Story County and Marshall County in Iowa. We are glad you are “visiting”.

RSVP matches the life skills, experiences, and interests of adults aged 55 and older with a variety of opportunities to address priority community needs. And that is exactly what RSVP volunteers are doing…making a difference in a very large way!

We are proud of RSVP’s rich history of volunteerism in Story County and excited about the growth of older adult volunteerism in our new service area, Marshall County. Whether you are seeking information on what being an RSVP volunteer is all about, or want specific information on current volunteer opportunities, this website can help.

We hope that you will choose to join our already great team of volunteers. Our dedicated staff are here to make sure that you are matched up with the best possible volunteer opportunity. Our priority is meeting your needs; finding a volunteer opportunity that fits your schedule, respects your personal preferences, and provides a rewarding and enjoyable experience.

If you are 55 years of age or older, and live in Story or Marshall County, then “Come on”.  We challenge you to not just leave a legacy of service, but to live a legacy of service…right here, right now.
