Volunteer Management for
Disaster Program
Expands to Story City
RSVP began training volunteers from the Story City area to provide volunteer management support to City leaders in the event of local disaster. To date, nine volunteers have participated in a basic disaster training to learn how to register and coordinate community volunteers, and staff a non-emergency phone bank.
More area trainings will be conducted in the future and RSVP invites anyone interested in learning more about this rewarding opportunity to contact Betty Boccella at 515-292-8890 or rsvp53@cirsvp.org
